El lirio es una de las plantas que más abunda en el Río Santiago, cubriendo su agua. Esta planta crece en aguas contaminadas y a la vez ayuda a purificarla. Pero, debido a su exuberancia en el Río crea un desequilibrio ecológico, consumiendo oxígeno y afectando la fauna del cuerpo de agua. 
 
The lily is one of the most abundant plants in the Santiago River, covering its waters. This plant thrives in contaminated water and, at the same time, helps purify it. However, due to its exuberance in the river, it creates an ecological imbalance, consuming oxygen and affecting the aquatic fauna.
